What I worked on Today Samoan Tapa Cloth. They’re made (alleges the collections manager) from mulberry bark beaten to an absolute pulp and then dyed with some seriously cool geometric designs. The one we worked on today was likely intended to be cut up and given away as souvenirs after a momentous gathering.
